Who we are
Port Macquarie Sleep Clinic
Dr Williams is a Qualified Sleep Medicine Practitioner in the lower mid coast area who has the qualification to report on in-lab and home-based studies sleep studies. Most respiratory and sleep doctors do not have this qualification. You can recognise a Qualified Sleep Medicine Practitioner by the fact that he signs the official report. The respiratory and sleep doctor without this qualification has a limited sleep knowledge base.
The clinic has operated for more thirty years and currently has four dedicated sleep study beds for in lab studies. A fully detailed home-based study service is also available to satisfy this need. As part of a commitment to complete care, a home trial program is offered to allow patients to trial CPAP at a low cost. We have arranged a special ENABLE pathway to give those patients who make this choice access to qualify for this program. We have 28 loan machines and a separate pool for ENABLE patients to maintain PAP therapy whilst they await processing of their claim.

In 2023, The Port Macquarie Sleep Team have decided to establish an “in-house” store to complete our service. Snore on Morton will provide a full retail service without referral. Our expert staff will give the benefit of our collective experience and make recommendations for the best OSA treatment.
